It is not easy to get the boy to come home since he has grown so attach to MIL. When we told him that we bring him home, he kept saying "mai mai"(no no).
MIL helped by putting him into the car - but the moment she is out of sight - he started to wail.
We quickly drove off but all the way his cries never stop and with his bad temper, he was practically punching me and kicking and screaming for MIL. 15 mins later he seems to change his strategy and instead pleaded with me "mummy mummy - mah mah mah mah". When i didnt response - hes back to the original tantrum. In the end - we gave up - turn around and send him back to MIL.
When reaching MIL place - he refuse to let us touch him and insisted on sitting in the car waiting for his mah mah.
I drag him out of the car and carry him up. The moment mah mah is in sight - he ran for her. Haiz.

Back to SG - 22 Feb 2009
Upon arriving SG, the first thought was to see Dayan.
His reaction is kind of hilarious when he glanced at me - surprise then deep in thoughts then call out "mummy". When i passed him his Elmo and finger walking cookie monster - he looks happy.
As i was experiencing jet lag - told him i be back to visit him in the evening and he waved goodbye.
When i returned to visit him again, he is still the same - happy as ever but Elmo was gone cos my MIL mistakenly gave it away to his cousin. I feel kind of sad cos its the bday pressie i got for him and mainly i only got him 3 gifts in total with one gone now.
Anyhow - he is more detached from mummy and daddy with the 2 weeks seperation and we need to work harder to get him home for the next weekend.

11 Feb 2009 - Dayan Birthday
Today is Dayan's birthday - not being able to celebrate with him for his big 2 but i post a greeting card to him from here.
Also got 2 gifts for him from the supermart since it pathetic over here. No shops around except for a drive thru starbuck and 2 shops that sell salad and pizza and burgers

08/09 Feb 2009 - to US
Effectively, Dayan is going to stay with my mil for 3 consecutive weekends as i head off to US for work.
Currently in US, Alson msn me to inform how well behave he is without me - i guess i am the one spoiling him.
Also sadly - he has killed 3 guppies today by feeding them with the biscuit that he usually eat which has a bit of salt.
Kind of missing him calling me mummy now.

07 Feb 2009- the day before I leave for US
It was a busy day for Alson and myself. We started early in the morning to toa payoh to see doc to get medication for my trip and also a cream for dayan since he has hurt his lips and we have no medication for that.
After that, we head to Wisma to get the shoe for my trip but in the end din manage to get since the shoe's heel is too high for me to balance ;p
Rush home as SIL came over at 2pm to hand me some winter wears - pullover, gloves and scarf.
Quickly let dayan eat and sleep by 315pm. As he woke by 6pm, we head straight to the laundry shop to collect my coat and to compass point to buy some socks, wet wipes and pacifier for dayan since he has intentionally bite on this pacifier again. This is the 3rd pacifier in 1 week. If he continues biting the pac, i will wean him off it completely.
Then rush over to my mum's place as they have arrange for a mini bday celebration for the end jan and feb babies. As its too rush for me, i had not prepare anything at all. Now that i recall - i forgot all the pressies ;) really paisay - i think i need to get the pressies from US for them
Dad and mum ordered and sponsor food and we had a mini buffet style spread. Cake is sponsored by my sis and another sis bf. Pressie for dayan from my sis. My parents gave dayan an ang bao too. The side-splitting part ot it - my dad kept asking ppl to drink the red wine.

01 Feb 09 - 人日
We spent the whole day at home playing with the new toys we bought for dayan since i will not be around on his bday.
Items bought :-
1) Toy's story remote control alien (which he safely chuck aside since he is very scare of it)
2) bunch of zoo animals
3) 2 puzzles
4) Tomy Remote control car - yellow mitsubishi evo (the Lexus that SIL got him for xmas has been crashed till beyond repair)
5) Bowling pins - he is eyeing that after seeing Jayden playing with those at his house
Saturday - 31Jan09 - Go Public day
Nothing much done for the day except going to compass point to window shop around. Instead of driving there, we decided to go green. Took LRT to compass pt and back by bus.
