25 Apr 2009 - Daddy back

Alson is back from trip today. initially plan to bring dayan along to give him a surprise but because of the things done in the afternoon, the timing is wrong.

For the whole noon - we went combing all ntuc to grab pampers(which is on offer - 3 for 45...) that were practically OOS.

Tried the 1st one - TP central NTUC (twice since the lady said stock will be in at noon), 2nd NTUC at TP still no luck. MIL and i decided to take a train to AMK Hub instead of driving since the carpack is not accessible for my car.

Happy to grab 6 packs of the XL pampers, 2 avent bottles, gripe water and 2 pack of yan yan.

Problems come next - MIL has difficulty walking and i had to carry the below into MRT back to TP :-

1) 6 packs of diapers

2) Dayan

3) dayan's stuff - fav lion, milk bottle.

When my MIL saw me doing all tat - only one comment came from her - "you really look aunty". In addition, i was also afraid to bump into friends :p

MIL helped to put daya to sleep after feeding him while i went to the airport to fetch alson.

He looks tired after the trip and does not want to go far for dinner. Settle for dinner at Bishan Foodjunction. After dinner - all 5 of us (mil, alson, ah girl, dayan, myself) went into the game room for some distress. It was an all participants nite ;)

18 Apr 2009 - day before Daddy goes away

Alson will be out of town again from 19 Apr 2009. We just enjoyed the day together practically doing nothing - just relaxing.

In the evening - go to my mum's place for dinner as she has finally prepared the long awaited steamboat that was plan and postpone for many times.

The theme for the steamboat is seafood feast - so mainly the ingredients are crab, prawns, scallop ..... yum yum. Sis prepare mala soup while rest is from mum.

MIL has some problem with the veins that cause her to have pain when she walk around. Had been sending her for acupuncture session every alt AM day which is the same thing that we did 1st thing in the am today.

After the session, we went to TP crystal jade for lunch. Ordered 1 scallop congee for dayan, beef rice for me, beef noodle for Alson, MIL had fried rice and ah girl had duck congee.

Head straight home after lunch.

Dinner time - we met up with my best pal with her family at swensons. As i had eaten Dayan's lunch porridge for dinner, i did not make any order while alson had baked rice. Ordered a kids meal (tuna burger set)for dayan.

4 Apr 2009/ 5 Apr 2009- Stay at home weekends

Sat - Got up and cook a new dish for dayan while he played with playdoh

Dish prepared for lunch/dinner : Bean paste + cod fish

Sun - It was a rainy day. We stayed home all day except during dinner time - went to tampines mall to meet MIL. She gave us a treat at BaliThai.
