The first Croc for Dayan - Saturday 28 Mar 2009

Dayan feet is growing tremdously fast. We realised that he is outgrowing the adidas that we bought for him for CNY'09 and decide to get him a new pair. Shop at compass point at metro in the morning - found the design that we want but not the size. So we head down to marina square at night. Reach MS at 845pm and dash for the Croc store before it close for the day. Got the pair of croc we were eyeing and went to waraku for dinner before head home.

Sickly Sunday - 22 Mar 2009

I will call this a doctor visiting day. Woke up in the morning and realise i had caught a cold. Dayan is also not getting better and probably got some bugs from me. All 3 of us head to the doc for prescription.

Jam Pack weekend - 21 Mar 2009

This is really the most jam pack activities weekend all in a day.

1) Best friend's wedding

2) Cousin's wedding

3) Company's family day to night safari

In the end, only the weddings are attended.

Sat morning - Alson was feverish but nevertheless woke up at 530am and drove me to Jurong west cos he knows that i will be lost there since i am not familiar with that place. Wait for the groom to come and head off to the temple to pray. After the temple session, it was already 10 ish so I had to leave Jurong to TP to fetch dayan back from MIL by 1130am before mil bring him out for shopping and i will then not able to bring him for the dinner.

Sat Afternoon - Alson was laying flat so i had to take care of dayan until he is sleepy enough to doze off for nap. Once he starts his nap at 230pm, i had to start racking through the wardrobe for clothes for 3 of us and equip my nanny bag for dinner. Once dayan got up at 5pm - I quickly feed him dinner and dress him up but he is kind of not very cooperative as he is also down with flu. Finshed up with Dayan and Alson, it took me 15mins to dress and makeup which means no time to go salon for hairwash. Done by 630pm

Sat Evening - Travel from my place to the Legends is tough as the CTE is mostly jam at this hour. We reached The Legends at 730pm and mingle around our family before the dinner commences. It the 1st time dayan sees the "yam seng" session as he was looking very amazed at why after each "seng", we still cannot drink the F&N orange. Only after the 3rd "seng", he smiled. Dinner done by 1110pm. Home by 1130pm and all 3 of us were off to zzzz land in minutes.

A Relaxing weekend 14-15 Mar 2009

We are taking it slow for the weekend as both Alson and myself are too tired from the long hours workweek.

Sat - Brought dayan to the library to borrow some books and my mum's place for lunch. Head down to Vivocity to shop and dinner.

Sun - Got a playdoh set in the morning from compass point and it got dayan hooked for the rest of the day until we had to pull him out for dinner at Bishan.

08 Mar 2009 - An uneventful day

Brought dayan to Compass point Ah Kun for breakfast and finish all banking and payment activities.

After that - we had to rush home as he kept pestering us for milk but i did not bring along.

The one thing that i am very satisfied is that he is able to recognise 75% of the picture book and read out to me and also he can start saying a few short sentences - mainly 4 words per sentence.
Besides, he can also start addressing basic stuff such as :-
1) Mummy, itchy
2) Papa - go there
3) Papa - do this
4) ah B (toby) - come c this
5) ah mas (Thomas) train
6) read book

Next week - i aim to start with alphabets - targeting 2-3 alphabets per week ;)

07 Mar 2009 - Dinner at Elias Mall

Have not treated Dayan to ice cream for a long time and decided to bring him to swenson's and boy - he really enjoyed himself and cleared up the mini volcano.

Evening - 3rd Aunt treated us to a sumptous dinner at Elias Mall. We had a close to 9 course dinner + beehoon crab + cream crab. I think among us - 2nd sis is the one enjoying the most as she cleared up the crabs.

After the dinner we head home to our house for a mini cake cutting for my mum's bday that falls on a weekday mid march.

Battle won - 01 Mar 2009

Dayan is finally coming home with us willingly. Daddy took out the thomas the train set which he got him for his bday. Boy had a great time playing the train set.

In the evening - we went to Pow Sing - early celebration for my mum's bday on 12 Mar.
